Research-uses PCs
The users of the following research-uses systems need registration in advance.
- OS: Windows 10 Education 64-bit version or Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) dual boot
- CPU: Intel Core i3-8100 (3.60GHz)
- Memory: 8GB
- 10 PCs are available in the research-uses terminal room.

Only the SSH key authentication method can be used to log in (password authentication is prohibited).To log in, a user must register his/her public key at the user portal in advance.
Applications for Research Purposes
The IMC conducts an on-campus open call for research applications to be installed in research systems once every two years. The open recruitment can be applied by a user group consisting of two or more faculty members, and the user group can use the adopted application at the cost of 30% of license fee. For details, please see the pdf at the time of open recruitment.
The applications adopted in the open call for participants in FY2022 are as follows. Registration is required before use in Research-uses PC and TUT HPC cluster.

Applications you wish to use individually
If you wish to use an application that is not installed on the research system, please follow the instructions below.
- Check and discuss with your supervisor the contents of the application (terms of use, etc.) before deciding whether to install it.
- If it is difficult to decide, you can consult with the IMC.
- The application will be installed in the user's area "/work/[account]". *A computer usage application is required.
- Please use it in the above area.
