How to Print

Printing consists of two steps: submitting a job, then releasing it at the printer. To release a job you needyour student ID card.

There are three ways to submit a job. These, and the way to release a job, are described below.

 Submitting a job from an educational terminal

In whichever application you are using on the educational terminal (Word, Excel, Photos, etc.), choose Print, select the printer “tutprinter”, and click the print button.

Submitting a job from the web page

Log in to the web page of ApeosWare Management Suite, the multifunction printer system used at this university, and submit your print job there.

  1. ApeosWare Management Suite Log in from the web page of
  2. Select “Print / Job”.
  3. Choose the file you want to print with “Select File”.
  4. Use “+” to add more than one file.
  5. Set the other options shown and click “Print”.

After clicking “Print”, the “Web Print Result” is displayed; check that there are no errors.

This page is for on-campus use only. To access it from off campus you need to use aVPN connection.

Submitting a job from a smartphone

  1. Install the ApeosWareMS Mobile2 app on your smartphone.
  2. ・User ID: your university account
    ・Password: your university password
    ・Server:xprint.edu.tut.ac.jp
    Connect to the campus network and log in.
  3. Menu Select the file you want to print
  4. Print
  5. Print settings
    ・Paper size ・ Auto → select a paper size

    * Printing often fails if the paper size is left set to “Auto”.
  6. Select a printer
    ・Printer:tutprinter
    ・Device group: (leave unselected)
    ・Device: (leave unselected)

* You can also print or upload by opening the file, choosing Share, and selecting the ApeosWareMSMobile2 app.

Releasing a submitted job at the printer

  1. Hold your student ID card over the “card authentication” area of the printer panel to log in.
  2. Press “On-demand Print”.
  3. Your submitted jobs are listed. Select the job you want to print and press “Start”.
  4. When printing has finished, log out using the icon at the top left. * You are also logged out automatically after a period of inactivity.
