Network Time Protocol (NTP) server

The NTP (Network Time Protocol) provides a service to synchronize the clocks of computers connected to the network.
The Information and Media Center operates the Stratum-2 NTP server, which runs with reference to the Stratum-1 NTP server published by the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology.

The overview of the NTP server is as follows.

• NTP stratum: 2
• NTP version: 4
• NTP server name: ntp.tut.ac.jp
